As you know, animals are the heart of my joy! And I love to reach out to pet parents everywhere.
In researching my new book, Dr. Pet Mom’s Pet Parenting Guide: How to Enjoy the Love and Friendship of Your Senior and Special Needs Pet, I discovered the idea of a pet trust. This legal document is a plan for the long term care of a pet if a pet parent is disabled or dies.
I reached out to Peggy, a Florida estate and elder law attorney and animal lover. She is a member of the Florida Bar Animal Law Section, and the founder/CEO of Animal Care Trust USA, Inc., a nonprofit to created to protect loved pets in loving homes.
A Pet Trust offers the best protection for the quality of life for your pet. Her specialty is advocating for pets and pet parents.
