I’ve decided to post this as a fictional work. Or is it? My story is so strange, you may not believe it. Or maybe you will?
Major caveat: All individual pieces-parts could have prosaic explanations. Taken in whole paints a much different picture. As best as I can tell, a pattern emerges.

Prologue
Before I delve into my story, I am the child of two very gifted musicians from NYC. I inherited their musical talent, plus a very logical mind that seeks and finds patterns that others tend to miss. But I also have to be careful not to imagine patterns either.

But I do have a strong intuition and seem to receive what others describe as ‘visions’ on occasion. Yep, have to be careful here too – could just be my vivid imagination.
One other thing about my parents: They were both atheists. No offense to them, but in spite of that I developed my own sense of spirituality. I consider myself highly spiritual with a profound respect for people of more organized faith traditions.
If I had to pick the biggest source of my spirituality, it would be that of the indigenous peoples of this planet. Especially those with a history with the Star People – what others would call extraterritorial beings or aliens.

The Wayback Machine
In the mid-60s when I was (5ish), I may have had a close encounter: Something scared me so badly that I passed out in the middle of night. Was not a dream or nightmare as far as I could tell.
This event haunted me for years. No idea what it was back then other than my kid brain: I thought a stuffed animal (a huge purple stuffed dog) yelled at me. I then called that stuffed animal the ‘Monster Dog.’
I never liked sleeping in a bed after that and always found an excuse to sleep on the floor by the TV.
I also named this water tower in my town the ‘Monster Dog Tower.’ In hindsight I wonder if I was taken there or above it by the star visitors?
Two other odd things related to the 60s event: At one point in a similar time-frame, I was in the bathroom and accidentally drank some poison. A plumber ‘just happened to be outside looking in’ and told my mother. He saved my life.
The second incident was a prowler/peeping tom. My dad grabbed a carving knife and chased him down the street. Was he chasing an alien or someone sent to check up on me, like one of the Men In Black types? Or maybe it was just some pervert.

1970s
Early 70s became obsessed with UFO/ET subject. Read every book in the library on the topic. And I hated (or had trouble) reading anything. Very strange!
My elementary school project was to create a button made of anything we wanted to draw. For whatever reason, I saved a campaign-style button that I made circa 1972. Actual evidence of my obsession! 😎

I was an odd child and had adults as friends. Was always trying to sap them of their wisdom.
In 1977, the movie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind came out. It dawned on me that my obsession with the topic and my odd event at 5ish, could mean I was visited and had some sort of relationship with the beings.

1990s
Fast forward to 1990s and the new Web: I saw what I felt was an orchestrated effort to demonize people claiming ET contact. We called them ‘experiencers.’
I formed a group to help these experiencers. And I also took some heat from what I think were the attack dogs of the ‘covert management.’ Nothing too gnarly, albeit there may have been a threat or two.
One day, someone frantic called me on the phone claiming a UFO incident. I described the incident on my web site. But quickly realized this was a non-event and retracted the report. Perhaps the incident was done to discredit me? I’ll never know the truth.
If indeed I was set up, I may have upset someone at the time. Sure, could be delusions of grandeur on my part. Who knows?
Then things started to calm down with the ‘disclosure’ movement took hold. It was around the time my interest began to fade. I urged a peaceful disclosure with amnesty for the secret keepers. Never was one for vengeance.

More Strangeness
Then there was one odd event around 1990 when person I was living with saw three hooded small beings in the middle of the night looking around.
The person thought ‘this is odd – it’s not even Halloween.’ This person was not prone to imagine events. And they are almost certain it was not a dream.
Related (could be spiritual or related to ET visitors):
Early to mid-1990s was taking care of grandfather in his early 90s. He was OK for a while, had a bout of pneumonia then ended up in a nursing home. My family decided to take him back to his apartment where I was his caregiver.
He was OK for a while but began to lose his strength and ended up in a wheel chair. He was miserable. One night, I got into a state of deep trance or prayer and begged his departed wife to take him to the spirit world. The next day he peacefully passed away.
Late 90s, my mom was very sick with cancer and needed surgery. I just knew she would not make it. I asked her if she wanted a rabbi and she exclaimed vehemently “No!” She was an atheist Jew.
I prayed to God or asked the ‘visitors’ to help her. It was a similar feeling that I had when I asked for help for my grandfather: A feeling knowing my prayer/request would be answered because it was out of sincere love.
Beautiful solution: Next day or so later, mom told me that the ghost of Timmy the tiger cat, had visited her. Timmy walked by the foot of her bed: I asked her what did that mean? She said, “Follow me.”
What a wonderful way to help a non-believer get prepared for the next leg of her spiritual journey! Beautiful!
Kinda lost interest in the UFO/ET matter around early 2000s.

Voice from Beyond the Grave?
There is only one time in my life that I clearly heard in my mind the voice of a departed loved one. At least, this is what I believe.
My mom passed away in 1998. Around a year later my dad remarried. My mom knew the woman.
At the post-wedding dinner at a fine restaurant, I distinctly heard my RIP mom exclaim “Shiksa!” It was loud like she was standing right next to me!
Clearly my mom was either upset or interjecting some humor. I wasn’t that happy to be there anyway. No offense to my dad or his new wife.

Alien ‘Helicopter’ Cannabis Delivery Service?
Around 2005, I was very depressed. At the time, cannabis was still illegal. I did not want to mess with legal garbage. But I knew cannabis would help my depression.
Out walking one day, and a helicopter seemed to follow me around the neighborhood. So I decided to follow it. All of a sudden, I found a baggy of cannabis on the sidewalk. It really helped, so thanks for the cannabis delivery service!

Another Odd ‘Helicopter,’ the Glowing Lady and Giant Dog
2010ish: Had encounter in woods with odd helicopter with writing underneath that looked something like ‘Klingon.’ It hovered maybe 50 feet above my noggin. Met a woman and child also looking up in amazement.
I wonder if they saw the same thing or perhaps more of a typical UFO? Maybe I saw what the beings wanted me to see so I would not be scared.
I believe after that first stuffed dog encounter, they realized it caused my anxiety attack. For a large part of my early years, I struggled with anxiety over that event.
Next day I went back to the woods and encounter a glowing (alien?) in the form of a nice lady with a giant German Shepherd (that’s at least what I think I saw). The dog seemed to be four feet tall with all four paws on the ground measured at the top of their shoulders. Around double the height of a normal German Shepherd!
She laughed at me and told me that the doggy would not harm me. Doggy came over and licked my hand. I think there were two purposes to this statement:
- The giant purple stuffed dog (the Monster Dog) was no threat.
- Whatever I found down the path in the woods was safe: I found a small 35mm film container of cannabis.
Occasionally, I would see odd helicopters in my neighborhood. One time, a frantic driver pulled up in a car and exclaimed “What the hell is that doing in the neighborhood?”
I did not bother trying to explain what I thought he saw. I don’t think he could have handled it.
I’ve even seen three of the out-of-place helicopters flying in formation. Bizarre!

The Case of the Bopping POS Car
About five years ago, I experienced another event: I was out for a late night walk when a four-door piece of shit (maybe an old Corolla) stopped next to me with music blaring. The occupants inside were bopping up and down to the music so hard, the car was bopping along with them.
Someone very odd looking talked to me in a language I did not recognize. Then the car drove away. Very strange thing to happen 11ish at night! It felt like a scene from a kooky film.

Oscar, the Cat Sent by God, or?
Not sure if related to my saga, but our cat Mr. Bean was very sick. I prayed my heart out for him. God or something guided us to adopt a feral rescue cat as a therapy cat for Mr. Bean. Mr. Bean did not make it, but Oscar helped him a lot. And Oscar has helped us since. He’s a wonderful cat.
In fact very recently, Oscar slept on my arm doing his healing his cat dad routine. I’ve had physical symptoms related to stress. Thanks Oscar! Very helpful!

An Odd Dream
I shared this recently on social media but deleted it to save for possible blog:
Very recently: A dream that I still remember after a few days usually has significance: I was in a hospital pantry and was looking for some cookies. Weren’t any, but in storage room nearby, found a large bag of chocolate chip cookies.
Next thing I wake up two states away (I live near Boston) in small town in Vermont. I’m on the ground (berm between sidewalk and street) with no socks or shoes on. I met some odd family. Then I walked down a hill towards the town stores and saw a gray-type alien riding a tricycle.
The alien turned around and looked at me and headed down a narrow path into the woods. I believe that the alien wanted me to follow them. But I did not follow. I entered some odd store with strange antiques and someone introduced themselves as an anthropologist.
Someone put drops in my eyes and said something like ‘they got me!’ Then I could not see, but I managed to grab someone and get out of the store. Then I (really) woke up not scared but more puzzled. In hindsight this dream is related to a shared missing time experience.
Went on late 11pm-ish walk with a pal on a route that takes around 1 ¼ hours. Around 15 minutes into the walk we arrived at two paths into the woods: one on left and one on right side of the street. Both of us decided to take a pit stop on separate paths.
As I was on my path I wondered if someone might come down the path towards me. I finished my business and met up with my pal and we finished the walk. When I returned home, it was 1AM and I had lost around 45 minutes! Not scared, in fact whatever happened felt good.
I’m no stranger to anomalous experiences and although I have no proof, I think my life is intertwined with our enigmatic visitors. And I also acknowledge there could be prosaic explanations for all. But that’s not what my intuition and logical mind are telling me.
I believe the dream was a mixture of COVID-19 (the hospital), binge watching the original MacGyver (attempted kidnapping in store) and my anomalous experience in the woods. I don’t recall watching any MacGyver episodes with aliens on tricycles. 🙂
This was meaningful and fun to write. And it may help someone else struggling with ‘paranormal’ experiences. Me, I am not struggling at all. I thoroughly enjoy the mystery and wonder of it all and look forward to more! 🙂

Star Children
It as been reported that certain people are star seeds or star children: People seeded on Earth to help our spiritual and societal development. They usually have psychic abilities and superior intellects.
Some may be human-alien hybrids or ‘walk-ins’: Alien souls swapped for human ones. I sure hope if this is true, it is with consent. I would think so.
Not sure if I am one of them, but who knows. I’ve never quite fit in here. For what it’s worth, I consider myself more or less a troglodyte and contrarian.
Sled Doggies to the Rescue!

A very recent interesting event: Stress (I already have anxiety and depression) caused by horrific governance (China and Dems) has manifested into physical illness. I was guided to walk into the woods when I had this vision: Visualize your immune system as a team of sled dogs pulling you to excellent health. I created the meme above.

Epilogue
Thanks for sharing my journey. If we experience open and unambiguous contact with the visitors of the benevolent kind, you can count on me to be calm and quite frankly, very happy about it. And eager to help those struggling with this fantastic new paradigm.
Other than being scared as a young child, I don’t feel that way anymore. I am scared enough of humanity…
Be well,
