Long Overdue: Emergency Care For K-9 Officers (Police Dogs) 🚔

Did you know that in many states, it’s against the law to give oxygen to a dog rescued in a house fire? Many fire fighters save them anyway. These kinds of outdated laws are changing and police dogs or K-9 officers are getting the emergency care they deserve.

May Pet Awareness Days 🗓️

May is a wonderful month to celebrate our loving pets! And the month of May is National Pet Month. Take time to meet new animals and their pet people and post your best pet photos on social media. Best of all, keep spoiling your pets all month! Happy National Pet Month and enjoy a summary of pet awareness days in May.

Microchipping Can Save Your Pet’s Life 💻

My daily walks take me through a maze of different neighborhoods, including mansions, low-income and middle income homes. But I noticed some strange things in my neighborhood: An uptick in posters of missing pets.

It’s strange because I rarely see these posters. I noticed a poster for an orange cat named Paws, missing for a few weeks. Paws’ poster is stapled to many telephone poles around town
