As any cat parent knows, cats can be stubborn. Cats generally have five types of personalities.

Cats can be dominant and take over resources like toys or food. They can also be insecure, shy or skittish. Other cats are social butterflies and easy going. Some cats are spontaneous and respond differently in any situation. Finally, cats can be curious or nosy.

Whatever type of personality, your cat communicates in her own way. She sends a message when she leaves you a clue outside the litter box.

Welcome to 2022! January is a time for fresh starts and new beginnings. It’s a month to walk your dog, change a pet’s life and rescue a bird.

All month long you can train your pet and celebrate a special anniversary for Seeing Eye Guide Dogs on January 29.

2021 Updates: Project K-9 Hero Foundation 🎖️

In 2020, I interviewed several people who dedicate their lives to helping animals. These wonderful people included the founders from Project K-9 Hero Foundation, Midwestern Animal Rescue Services, Pup N Iron Canine Fitness and Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Have you ever heard of a pet service desert? It’s a community where services for pets are not available or affordable. Families in pet service deserts live in low-income areas. But the Humane Society of the US (HSUS) Pets For Life (PFL) program is working to close the gap in pet wellness services.

You won’t find a description of a doggy campground in Wikipedia, but these safe doggy spaces are popping up around the country.

October feels like the start of the holiday season. The cool weather reminds us that fall is here. It’s not quite Autumn, the start of the seasonal change from summer to winter. October is also a great month for celebrating family pets and animals everywhere!

Mobile Veterinary Clinics Pros and Cons 🚚

In the United States alone, over 393.3 million are living in their forever homes. Worldwide, over 1.1 billion pets live with their pet families. Pets need veterinary care and mobile veterinary clinics are stepping up to fill the gap.

Mobile clinics give veterinarians the benefit of running a business. And pet parents everywhere are taking notice of alternatives to the traditional veterinary clinics as the only source for pet care.
