DrPetMom.com Asking for Your Help to Donate More Shelter Quilts! 🐱 🐢

You might remember that I’m a virtual volunteer for the TQPM Small Kennel Quilt Team. Since I started making quilts last summer, I’ve donated over 170 quilts to animal rescues and shelters around the country.

And this year, at the end of August into early September, I stepped away from editing my book, Dr. Pet Mom’s Pet Parenting Guide: How to Enjoy the Love and Friendship of Senior and Special Needs Pets. I took time out to work on another project close to my heart: making quilts for homeless animals.

Holiday Gifting for Rescue Animals 🎁

This year, Dr. Pet Mom re-discovered the joy of quilting! She started making quilts for animal rescues and shelters.

Dr. Pet Mom was hooked since the shout out to help local shelters impacted by natural disasters – flooding, hurricanes, forest fires, winter storms, mudslides, and tornadoes.

Christmas time is near and she is gifting more quilts to help homeless cats and dogs.

Quilting For Rescue Pets 🧡

My mission as Dr. Pet Mom is to try to help as many animals as possible. I discovered another way to help animals: Quilting.

This month, I’m finishing up my project as a volunteer for a local cat rescue, Bay State Animal Cooperative. This time of year is the busy kitten season and I’m helping to process adoption applications.
